The three D-rings are welded, therefore the collar is also suitable for extreme pulling.
The padding of the collar is very important. It has several functions:
On the one hand, it gives the wearer of the collar a good wearing feeling because it is soft. Secondly, the padding prevents the collar from being laced too tightly. The foam can only be pressed in to a limited extent when it is fastened and then gives way a little. Thus, with padded collars, there can be no constriction of air or blood supply, even when worn for a very long time.
The padding is glued to prevent tangling (twisting).
The inside of the collar is completely covered with leather, there are no rivets or similar.
Another important aspect of collars is the leather. The skin on the neck, nape and décolleté is thin and very sensitive.
For us it goes without saying that we only use cowhide dyed in the EU without toxic azo dyes.
